Lectors are Catholic lay ministers who read from the Lectionary during Mass. They are people of faith who have nurtured a relationship with God and formed their lives on the Gospel. Through study, prayer, and thorough preparation, the lector becomes the means by which God's word touches the hearts of those gathered to hear God speak in the Eucharistic assembly.
Requirements:
Must have the Sacraments of Initiation
(Baptism, First Holy Communion, & Confirmation) if Single and if you are married you must be married through the Catholic Church.
Los lectores son ministros laicos católicos que leen el Leccionario durante la misa. Son personas de fe que han alimentado una relación con Dios y han formado sus vidas en el Evangelio. A través del estudio, la oración y la preparación minuciosa, el lector se convierte en el medio por el cual la palabra de Dios toca los corazones de los reunidos para escuchar a Dios hablar en la asamblea eucarística.
